Washington, Sep 26 (Prensa Latina) Scientists at a hospital in Houston, the US, analyzed the structure of SARS-CoV-2 that infected inhabitants of that city in two waves, and noticed a mutation in the strain that makes the virus more contagious, according to reports.
The study, released on the MedRxiv preprint server, states that the mutation helps the virus to spread faster but does not make it more dangerous.
