Five debutants in Johnathan Thurston’s team to break Maroons Origin drought – Fox Sports
Queensland legend Johnathan Thurston has picked five debutants in his Maroons side for the State of Origin series opener on November 4.
The Maroons have been thrown into turmoil with injuries to number of incumbents and mystery surrounding who the coach will be should Kevin Walters have to give up the position to accept the Broncos job.
With Michael Morgan ruled out and Greg Inglis availability unclear Thurston has opted for a new look centre pairing.
