Majak Daw bids farewell to North Melbourne after brutal list calls – Fox Sports
North Melbourne have released footage of Majak Daw’s farewell to teammates, after the 29-year-old was told he would not be offered a contract at the club for 2021.
Daw was one of 11 players culled by the club after a horror season as it looks to rejuvenate its list, with the Sudanese-born defenders comeback to AFL level one of the stories of the year after overcoming significant injury from a fall off the Bolte Bridge in late 2019.
Addressing the playing group following the clubs decision, Daw thanked teammates and the club as a whole for the faith it had shown in him since picking him up with the ninth pick in the 2010 rookie draft.
