‘I feel conned’: V’landys sent death threats in vile response to ‘dishonest’ TV program – Fox Sports
ARLC chair and Racing NSW chief Peter V’landys spent Wednesday in a defamation hearing over an ABC investigation into alleged racehorse cruelty which saw him receive an “absolute firestorm of abuse.”

The two-year 7.30 investigation, titled The Final Race aired on October 17 just 13 days before Vlandys took over as chair of the rugby league commission. It uncovered the alleged acts of cruelty against racehorses, suggesting that hundreds of Australian racehorses were sent to slaughter houses and it took particular aim at Vlandys.
