Queensland Health paid $540 million in invoices late, report finds – Brisbane Times
The Queensland Auditor-General released a report into the bungled roll-out of the ordering system in Queensland hospitals last year.

Health Minister Steven Miles on Wednesday said there was “no question” things had not worked as planned but said the auditor’s report showed the process was “managed well”.
Invoices not paid on time
After the first problems emerged, a backlog of unpaid invoices developed, which the report attributed to the invoice scanning system not reading invoices correctly, slow system speed, and controls able to be bypassed in the old system now required.
