MELBOURNE midfielder Christian Petracca’s breakout season has been capped with a maiden club best and fairest.
Petracca (385 votes) claimed the Demons’ Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Trophy for the first time ahead of Steven May (362) and Jack Viney (311) on Wednesday night.
Fresh off signing a two-year contract extension on the eve of the season, Petracca exploded as a full-time midfielder this year and averaged a career-high 23.5 disposals in all 17 games.
