After coming under public criticism last week, Football Federation Australia says it has “listened to fans” by confirming the Matildas’ replica away kit will be available to the public in female sizing from next year.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) and Nike say they have “listened to fans” after announcing the Matildas’ replica away kit will be available to purchase in women’s sizes next year.
- FFA and Nike will make the Matildas’ green away jersey available in women’s sizes “early in 2021”
- The announcement follows a backlash from fans on Twitter last week
- FFA said the initial unavailability “was not consistent with the values” it sought to uphold and promote
