David Warner fell victim to one of cricket’s unluckiest run-outs as Mitchell Marsh limped off with a bad ankle injury on a horror night for Aussies in the Indian Premier League.
Warner, playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, was sent back to the pavilion for just 6 when a freaky deflection ran him out at the non-strikers end.
Warner, the IPL clubs skipper, reflected after the match that his run-out was among the most bizarre dismissals Ive ever seen as Hyderabad collapsed in a catastrophic fashion, falling from 2 to 121 to be all out for 153 to fall to Royal Challengers Bangalor.
