Hawthorn’s Conor Glass makes the decision to retire effective immediately
IRISH Hawk Conor Glass has called time on his 21-game AFL career, making the decision to return home.
Glass, 22, was the first Irishman to represent Hawthorn after joining the club in 2015 as a Category B rookie.
Hawks chief of football Graham Wright said the draw of returning to Ireland was too much for the defender.
“Conor has spent four and a half years at Hawthorn and has been totally committed to his AFL career the whole way through,” said Wright.
