Xbox just announced it is acquiring ZeniMax Media and Bethesda Softworks hours before the new Xbox Series X and Series S go on pre-order.
In a huge power move Xbox just announced it has bought out Bethesda and ZeniMax Media. With only hours to go before pre-orders open for the Xbox Series X and Series S, the timing on this is impeccable.
Xbox made the announcement late Monday evening via its official blog. The company stated it has entered into an agreement to buy ZeniMax Media and all of its subsidiaries for $US7.5 billion.
