Several schools across Sunderland remain partially closed due to outbreaks of the virus

A number of schools across Sunderland remain partially closed due to reported cases of coronavirus.
According to Together for Children, 11 schools in Sunderland are partially closed while Portland Academy is fully closed to pupils.
In some cases, the closures only apply to certain year groups or class group, depending on where the reported coronavirus is found.
A number of schools across the region have been affected by coronavirus after they reopened earlier this month.
