Enraged Surrey Co-op shopper wrecks store after disagreement over coronavirus one-way system – Surrey Live
Some of the UK’s top retailers are putting pressure on the Prime Minister to push for legislative change due to an “ever-rising tide of abuse” from customers

A video has emerged showing an enraged Co-op shopper tear apart a Surrey store after apparently being told by staff to follow its one-way system.
The Co-op CCTV footage, published in The Times, was captured in May 2020 at the height of lockdown, and the incident took place at the Lingfield High Street store.
In the shopper’s outburst, they pull off two shelves of wine bottles which shatter dramatically onto the ground and leave a pool of red liquid and broken glass on the floor.
