Its official- Australian actors have missed out on scoring a single Emmy Award.
Despite high hopes that Hugh Jackman, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette or Sarah Snook could have secured a win in their respective categories, they have all been snubbed.
Hopes rested on Snooks performance as Shiv Roy in Succession, but she missed out to Ozarks Julia Garner in the best supporting actress in a drama series, one of the last awards to be announced.
