Covid deaths in England are approaching nearly 30,000 as latest NHS figures show one new fatal death in the Midlands.
Twelve more people have died in hospitals across England in total.
The NHS confirmed new figures today (Sunday) bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,747.
One person has died in a Midlands hospital.
Patients were aged between 62 and 98 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
