Insurance Australia Group has named former chief financial officer Nick Hawkins as its new chief executive, replacing outgoing boss Peter Harmer.
Insurance Australia Group has named longstanding chief financial officer Nick Hawkins as its new chief executive and managing director, replacing outgoing boss Peter Harmer.
Mr Hawkins had been one of the two frontrunners to take the job, alongside chief executive of the Australian business Mark Milliner. However, there had been rumours an external candidate was also in the mix.
