Star forward facing race against time to be fit for finals

The Western Bulldogs have secured a top eight spot after a win over Fremantle, but could be without star forward Aaron Naughton for its elimination final.
Naughton clashed heads with Fremantle ruckman Sean Darcy in the first half of the Bulldogs’ 11. 8. (74) to 6. 8. (44) win in Cairns on Sunday night.
The high-flying forward did not play in the second half after being taken to hospital for scans, with the Bulldogs of the belief that he has suffered a depressed fracture of the cheekbone.
