‘Serious unrest’ inside Essendon over treatment of retiring Tom Bellchambers with star fearful of future – Fox Sports
There is “serious unrest” at Essendon over the treatment of a retiring favourite and concern over the team’s future could see one of its brightest stars walk out the door.

Veteran ruckman Tom Bellchambers announced his retirement last week, but wasnt selected for a farewell game in the Bombers Round 18 clash with Melbourne – which was a dead rubber for them with finals out of the question.
That was despite Bellchambers being fully available – he ended up playing just seven games in another injury-ravaged season – and according to St Kilda champion Leigh Montagna, that has left a bitter taste in the mouths of some Bombers veterans.
