A man infected with coronavirus has died in NSW, the first death in the state from the virus in weeks.
The man, aged in his early 70s, died in hospital on Saturday.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian said he had only recently contracted COVID-19 and his infection was linked to the Sydney CBD cluster.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time, Berejiklian said on Sunday.
