GWS Giants football boss Jason McCartney says talks to re-sign Jeremy Cameron beyond 2020 have progressed a lot further in the last month but confirmed there was still work to go on any new deal.
The Giants wont play finals this season after going down to St Kilda by 52 points on Friday night, capping off a disappointing year for Leon Camerons side.
Attention will now naturally turn to the future of several of their out-of-contract stars, including Cameron and defender Zac Williams.
