Storm stand down Origin star for bringing ‘uninvited guest’ into resort bubble – Fox Sports
The Melbourne Storm have been caught up in a COVID-19 breach at their Sunshine Coast hub involving Origin star Christian Welch, who has been stood down.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit and the Queensland government about the situation, which has resulted in Welch self-isolating.
According to the reports, Welch invited another person into the hub overnight.
