Storm player forced to undergo COVID-19 testing after inviting guest into hub – Sydney Morning Herald
The NRL integrity unit was on Friday morning briefed on a potential breach of coronavirus protocols from Melbourne prop Christian Welch.

Origin prop Christian Welch has apologised after inviting a guest into the NRL bubble on Thursday night.
Welch was stood down on Friday and is set to be fined by the NRL for breaching the game’s strict biosecurity rules after bringing an “unregistered” guest into the Storm’s Sunshine Coast bubble.
