Olympic gold medallist details agonising journey with ‘hush hush’ health condition – 9Honey

Olympic gold medallist Tara Lipinski has shared her painful journey with endometriosis after years of suffering “intermittent pain”.
The figure skating champion underwent laparoscopic surgery to treat the condition, which causes tissue usually found in the uterus to grow outside of it.
Lipinski detailed the process on Instagram, sharing photos taken before and after her surgery, in a bid to raise awareness of the disorder.
