Eddie breaks silence on Jordan De Goey predicament as AFL boss hints at policy ‘debate’ – Fox Sports
Collingwood president Eddie McGuire has rubbished claims Jordan De Goey has been permitted to continue to play AFL football due to his talent and marquee status, labelling the suggestion as a “cheap shot”.

McGuires comments came just hours after AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan said he understood the debate over the lack of a no-fault stand down policy in the competition.
Sydney young gun Elijah Taylor was this week stood down by the Swans after being charged with aggravated assault by West Australian Police.
