Under pressure to find a US partner so it can continue operating in the American market, video-sharing app TikTok has rejected a bid from Microsoft.
- The Trump administration has threatened to ban TikTok by September 20 and ordered owner ByteDance to sell its US business
- The US Government says the app’s Chinese ownership represent a national security risk
