IIT Mandi design gold nanoclusters to view lysosome smaller than 50 nanometers – India Today
The Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi has developed gold nanoclusters for super-resolution optical imaging of a very small size cell of ~50 nanometers, lysosome in live conditions.

Indian Institute of Technology Mandi researchers have designed gold nanoclusters as an efficient fluorescent nanoprobe for lysosome imaging. Out of multiple organelles present in an animal cell, lysosomes play a significant role in cellular processes. A lysosome is a membrane-bound cell organelle that contains digestive enzymes.
