Adam Saads contract status at Essendon remains unconfirmed with the dashing defender yet to re-sign with the club.
A report just last week indicated that opposition clubs are circling the 26-year-old who comes out of contract at seasons end.
SENs Sam Edmund admits it is a strange situation which has not progressed at all as the end of the 2020 season rapidly approaches.
