Dominic Thiem wins maiden grand slam in 70-year first as Alexander Zverev chokes in wild final – Fox Sports
Dominic Thiem has become the first player in over 70 years to win the US Open men’s singles final against Alexander Zverev after losing the first two sets.

Thiem stormed home to take out the title in a final set tiebreak 2-6 4-6 6-4 6-3 7-6 (8-6).
The last player to achieve the miraculous feat was Pancho Gonzales in 1949 according to US Open Tennis.
