Sydney-based fund manager Caledonia (Private) Investments is spearheading an investor group that set to take a $1 billion-odd stake in Nasdaq-listed gaming company Scientific Games.
It is understood Caledonia and its co-investors won an auction for the 35 per cent stake owned by American billionaire Ron Perelman, and the deal is likely to be announced in the United States as early as Monday.
