Swans youngster Elijah Taylor charged with aggravated assault – The Age
WA Police allege that between 6am and 8am on Sunday, a 19-year-old man from Maroubra assaulted an 18-year-old woman known to him at a hotel in Perth’s CBD.
Swans coach John Longmire said the club was aware of the developments when asked after his side’s defeat to the Brisbane Lions in Cairns on Sunday evening.
Were just aware of a report and Im sure youll respect the fact that Ive been coaching, so no comment,” Longmire said.
The AFL is yet to comment, but the league’s integrity unit last week intervened after Taylor’s former partner, Lekahni Pearce, 18, detailed assault allegations against him through an Instagram story.
