Coronavirus cases hit highest daily level in the UK in four months with 3,539 positive tests – Daily Record
Professor Yvonne Doyle warns that while younger people make up the greatest share of new cases there are now “worrying signs” of infections among the elderly.

Health chiefs have issued a warning after 3,539 new cases of Covid-19 were found across the UK in 24 hours.
It is the highest daily figure seen since May 17, the Department of Health in England has announced.
A total of 175 positive results were discovered in Scotland over the past 24 hours, resulting in local lockdown restrictions being extended to Lanarkshire.
