Defending NBA champs crash out as Boston books huge showdown with Butler’s Heat – Fox Sports
Defending NBA champions Toronto Raptors won’t hold on to their maiden title in 2020 after falling to Boston by five points in game seven of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
The Raptors fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to force a Game 7, and the rollercoaster series was reflected in a seesawing clash that again went down to the wire.
Toronto led at the first break by a point, were down by four points at the half, and down by just one at three-quarter time. But when it mattered most the final whistle Boston came out on top 92-87.
