The camera core of the Vera C Rubin Observatory clicked its first test on 3,200 megapixel digital photos – the largest ever taken in a single shot.
According to one StatementSLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, the images are very large, one of which takes 378 4K ultra-high-definition TV screens to display at full size. It added that the resolution was very large and that a golf ball could be seen at a distance of 24 km.
