Michael Morgan might be the 2017 Dally M halfback of the year, but NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler believes the Cowboys captain is better suited to a different position.
The halves and fullback positions have proved a sticking point for the Cowboys this season, with injuries and poor form meaning a full seven players have been rotated across that trio of positions.
And with Todd Payten coming in as North Queensland coach for 2021, Fittler claims the new mentor should shift the versatile Maroon to the centres.
