The cousin of Roosters co-captain Boyd Cordner has passed away in a Newcastle hospital five days after collapsing during a rugby league game.
One minute of silence will be observed before the Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights clash for Joel Dark, the cousin of Roosters, NSW and Kangaroos captain Boyd Cordner who died on Friday.
Dark, 19, collapsed on the field while playing for Central Newcastle in a rugby league game last Sunday and had been in a critical condition in the John Hunter Hospital all week.
