Netflix’s ‘Dragon’s Dogma’ has alarmingly grand opening credits that look kinda familiar – Mashable
Serious ‘Game of Thrones’ vibes.
There’s definitely a current trend in TV opening credits. If the show’s crime-related, the opening tends to feature a bunch of creepy overlapping images that fade and morph, True Detective-style, with details that we’ll inevitably come to understand later.
If it’s fantasy, though, you’d better brace for a booming Game of Thrones or The Witcher-style score coupled with some slowly panning shots of moody scenery, armor, or insignia plus the odd dragon or two.
