A delegation of Victorian and federal officials visited the NSW COVID-19 State Emergency Operations Centre to swap ideas and learn from each other.
The agenda included the rapid deployment of pop up testing clinics, community engagement and testing strategies. The roundtable also examined the NSW response to a number of its more recent clusters including at the Crossroads Hotel at Casula and Tangara Girls School outbreak at Cherrybrook.
Dr Finkel said while contact tracing was significant, it was just one aspect of the fight against COVID-19.
