A husband and wife who were married for almost 50 years have died from coronavirus just minutes apart, still holding hands as they passed.
Johnny Lee Peoples, 67, and his wife Cathy Darlene Peoples, 65, died on September 2 after a month-long battle with the virus.
The North Carolina residents met in their teens and started dating 50 years ago, before tying the knot after two years together.
