Low-cost carrier Tigerair Australia has officially collapsed after 13 years of operation.
The airline cited the industry-wide downturn in travel due to COVID-19 lockdowns as the reason for the difficult decision.
There is no denying these are tough times for everyone in the travel and tourism industry, the airline said in a note to customers.
Sadly, after 13 years of operations, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Tigerair Australia brand.
