Google Releases Google Maps for iPhone Update with a Major New Feature – autoevolution
Google has just released a new version of Google Maps for iOS devices, and the biggest addition this time is a feature that the company previously removed back in 2017.
It’s support for the Apple Watch, something that Google originally ditched three years ago but which the company decided to bring back with a new update this week.The Mountain View-based search giant announced in August that Google Maps would return to the Apple Watch with a future update, and today, this update is finally available for everyone with an iPhone.
To get support for the Apple Watch in Google Maps, you need to install app version 5.52.
