Oscars academy sets out new diversity standards for best picture contenders following years of debate – ABC News
The US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ new rules lay out percentages or numbers of actors and staff on a movie that must be filled by people of colour, women, people with disabilities or people from the LGBTQI community.
The US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has published new inclusion and diversity guidelines for filmmakers to be eligible for the best picture Oscar.
