Business conditions plunge with stage four lockdown – The Australian Financial Review
Business conditions, profitability and expectations on employment have fallen in the first NAB Business Survey to include full stage four lockdowns in Victoria with all states seeing declines in conditions, except NSW.

Confidence in the future rose slightly but remains fragile and is still negative on NAB’s index.
“Confidence will continue to be impacted by news around the virus which has generally been more positive recently,” Mr Oster said, “In combination with weaker forward orders and a low level of capacity utilisation it suggests that conditions may also soften before they get better, he said.
