Grant Thornton promotes partners despite pandemic – The Australian Financial Review
Mid-tier accounting firm Grant Thornton has appointed five new partners, bucking the trend of professional services firms hitting pause on promotions and making sweeping job cuts in response to COVID-19.
PwC has also delayed partner admission until 2021, while Deloitte and KPMG are both freezing partner promotions until the end of the year. The big four firms have all cut partner pay and bonuses.
