The old best mates are back on speaking terms, five years after the infamous affair scandal.
Five years after discovering his best mate and wife were having an affair, Billy Brownless has revealed he is back on speaking terms with Garry Lyon.
The former AFL stars were close friends for years, and were even working on the Footy Show together when Lyon started dating Brownless wife Nicky.
Unsurprisingly, the friendship disintegrated as the affair came to light.
But now, the Geelong great says he has been able to move on from the heartbreak of losing both his wife and best mate.
