Virgin Australia walks away from 10 flight routes with regional centres affected across the country – ABC News
Troubled airline Virgin Australia has cut flight routes to seven regional destinations and to Tonga as its pandemic restructure continues.

Virgin Australia has moved to stop flying to seven regional destinations as it continues its post-coronavirus restructure.
Key points:
- Regional flights to Uluru, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, Albury, Hervey Bay, Cloncurry and Mildura have been affected
- The routes from Sydney to Tonga and Cloncurry to Mount Isa will also be axed
- The airline went into voluntary administration in April and was bought by US private equity firm Bain Capital on Friday
