Andrews government is ‘in fear’ of the virus – The Australian Financial Review
Leading epidemiologist Professor Catherine Bennett has criticised Victoria’s handling of the virus saying ‘we now should be in a much better position to be very targeted’.

“Even though it is a pandemic we can take what we have learnt from other outbreak investigations and apply it here.”
Professor Bennett said the focus on case numbers was too narrow and there was too much focus on mobility.
“They are speaking about case numbers and they just keep saying you have to keep movement down, you have to keep everybody from moving.”
