Grumpy Gil threatens to send people home as tensions simmer over AFL’s Queensland hub – Fox Sports
AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan has reminded those currently in the transition hub that their trip north is not a holiday for those involved.
There are 400 people at the AFL transition hub at the Mercure Resort on the Gold Coast, with the group completing a two-week quarantine from September 1.
Richmond young guns Sydney Stack and Callum Coleman-Jones were forced to be sent home on Friday after being involved in a brawl outside a strip club, with McLachlan reading the riot act to those alongside the CEO in the hub.
