The latest data makes for bleak reading
The latest data on coronavirus infection rates shows an increase in every Greater Manchester borough except Trafford.
Bolton’s rate continues to soar and has now reached 121.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Seven of the ten boroughs in the region are now on ‘red alert’, meaning they have an infection rate above 50.
Rochdale has seen the most significant increase in cases, rising from 49.5 on Sunday, to 59.8 on Monday.
But there have been similar increases in most parts of the region.
