Pubs with no cheer: lockdown costing $2000 a day – The Australian Financial Review
Australia’s second-largest pubs group says trading has revived outside of Victoria, while beer giant Lion says the NSW approach would lessen economic pain.

A Lion spokeswoman said ”no one wants to see a third wave in Victoria”, but the company was hopeful of further consultation with the Victorian government.
NSW has implemented a system using QR codes on phones which tracks people entering venues and allows them to report safety failures directly to the health department, enabling people to be tracked instantly.
