Leigh Montagna believes Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson missed the mark with his barb towards St Kilda coach Brett Ratten on Sunday.
Speaking after Hawthorns 14-point loss to St Kilda, Clarkson accused the Saints of playing keepings off and using tactics that wont work against better teams.
However, Montagna, a former St Kilda great explained that the numbers suggested Rattens method stacked up with the rest of the top eight.
