Thomas Peter Pope purchased it on 13th May 1929, from the war services homes commission, for six hundred and nine pounds eleven shillings and seven pence ($1,219.16). Thomas Pope was a returned soldier from Ww1. This photo was taken c.1930. The lady of the veranda was pregnant with her first child, so she told me (she was my Nana). From Sharon Hogan.
